To
taste at best the extra virgin "Scollo" olive oil we show
an easy and fast recipe that emphasizes its genuineness:
Tomato's
toast:
- home made bread;
- little tomatoes;
- extra virgin
olive oil "Scollo";
- garlic
- salt
- black
pepper
How to do it:
Mince little tomatoes
and dress the salad with salt and black pepper. Cut bread in
slices and toast it on the embers or in the oven. Rub garlic
on the hot bread, put the salad on the bread and at last season
with abundant extra virgin "Scollo" olive oil .
"Carrittera"
's Spaghetti
For
six persons
- 800 gr. of spaghetti
or bucatini
- 1500 gr. of
bald tomatoes without seeds
- 100 gr. of extra
virgin olive oil "Scollo"
- 4 cloves of
garlic
- basil
- salt
How
to do it:
Cut the tomatoes and put them in a bowl, add four cloves of
minced garlic, abundant minced basil, 100 gr. of extra virgin
olive oil "Scollo" and a pinch of salt. Let the sauce soak,
at least for one hour, and season "spaghetti" or "bucatini
" with this sauce. You can use also "caciocavallo Ragusano
" or "pecorino " cheese on your spaghetti.
